In my journey throughout Teyvat, I met all kinds of people. Some of them were nice. Others were not. Some people also gave me items right after talking to them. If only people on Earth were this generous. However, it might come off as creepy.
There were also people I thought were very pitiful.
Walking through the mountains of Mt. Tianheng, Liyue, I met a man named Childish Jiang. Who names their son, Childish (￣ω￣;)? Liyue people are so weird. Anyway, I talked to the guy and was surprised that he wanted to play hide and seek. I paused my ingredient-foraging adventure and played with the guy.
I played with him four times. I found him hiding twice behind big rocks, once behind a tree and once beside the house. If you want to know the exact locations, please ask other adventurers. I have a very bad sense of direction (＞﹏＜). Mind you, the last hiding place was the hardest one—I needed to look for him three times.
But that’s not what this story is about. As Childish Jiang explained all of the hiding places to me, the last hiding place had an awful story.
There was a reason that the hiding place was hard to find. It was to keep him safe. One day, Childish Jiang’s mother apparently told him that they were going to play hide and seek. He happily went to his ultimate hiding place.
I don’t know if you realized this but Childish Jiang has a childish personality. Even as a man, his mind is still like a child’s. Jiang said that he heard his mother’s friends came. He thought that she was asking for help. So he kept quiet and stayed still at that hiding place. That was the last day he saw his mother (x_x). According to him, his mother got lost along the way and still wasn’t able to find him. Childish Jiang is still waiting for her to find him up to this day.
I wanted to find the story creator and slap him after finishing the quest. Why? Why would you put this heart-breaking story here (╬ Ò﹏Ó)?!
I also heard from Childish Jiang that a distant Uncle keeps visiting him to give him food and other stuff. Some Millelith guys also come to visit and give him some snacks. They keep telling him that they don’t know where his parents are.
I have an idea. But it would be very heart-breaking to tell him.
I didn’t play for the whole day after finding these tombstones ｡･ﾟﾟ*(>д<)*ﾟﾟ･｡. I lost all my will to forage for mushrooms and sweet flowers.
