Can I be totally honest with you? I am so sick of the confusing parts of Dragon Raja. It doesn’t matter whether you are a new player or not. There are a lot of things that old players don’t understand—new players even less so.
The picture above is taken a few days ago from my friend. There is a very big problem with this picture.
To understand why this is a problem, I need to talk about Equipment and Status Grade first.
Equipment Tiers
Grade, in this game, means the level of rarity something has. In Dragon Raja, the equipment (equip) and status(stats) grades are defined by color. Green, being the lowest. Red, the highest grade.
The color hierarchy of the Stats and Equips are Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, Gold, and Red.
This means a blue stat is better than a green stat.
Now, let’s go back to the picture before. Can you understand the problem now? The stats on the left are, in a way, better than the ones on the right. Pretty good right?
Let me ask you this: which equipment do you think belongs to a person who never spent a single cent in the game?
I’m gonna give you a second to think.
Did you pick a choice already?
The answer is…..
The left one belongs to a player who never spent money in the game. I’m not kidding. The right equipment belongs to someone who did.
Let that sink a bit first. A player who never spent any money on the game has better stats than the player who spent money. Really? Really, Dragon Raja? I cannot emphasize this enough. There is a lot to be confused about in this game.
This is why an explanation about the Dragon Raja stats and how they are important to every class in the game is in order.
I just want to remind every reader that the stat distributions I share below are the things I did for my characters. Therefore, anyone may or may not disagree with what I write.
If you want to learn more about stat distributions, then check out SpiritGaming’s video about it here.
Status and Acronyms
Yes, I know. I’m being stupid because I’m listing this out, but you’ll be surprised that even some old players don’t know what the status acronyms mean.
P. Atk - Physical Attack
M. Atk - Magical Attack
P. Def - Physical Defense
M. Def - Magical Defense
AP - Armor Penetration
CDR - Cool Down Reduction
MS - Multistrike
Crit - Critical
Crit Res - Critical Resistance
Crit DMG - Critical Damage
INT - Intelligence
INS - Insight
STR - Strength
DEX - Dexterity
CON - Constitution
Elemental Attacks (Fire, Wind, Water, Earth)
It is also important to remember that the letter ‘M’ indicates that stat is the most important for a certain class.
The picture above is taken from a Soul Dancer’s perspective. Therefore, the most important stats for a Soul Dancer is M. Atk and CDR.
Classes and Important Stats
The list below indicates the important stats for every class in Dragon Raja. The greater than ( < ) sign means that the previous set of stats is more important than the other set of stats. So here it is:
Soul Dancer
M.Atk, CDR, Water Atk > Crit, MS, AP > INT, INS > P.Def > M.Def > Earth Def
Blade Master
P. Atk, AP, P. Def, M. Def > Fire Atk, CDR, Water Def > CON > STR, INS
Assassin
M. Atk, MS, Earth Atk > Crit, AP > P. Def, M. Def > INT, CON > Wind Def
Gunslinger
P. Atk, Crit, Wind Atk > MS, AP > STR, DEX > P. Def, M. Def, Fire Def
Fighter
P. Atk, MS, Fire Atk > AP, Crit > Crit Res, P. Def, M. Def > STR, INS, CON > Water Def
Reaper
M. Atk, Crit, CDR, Earth Atk > AP > INT, CON, INS > P. Def, M. Def > Wind Def
Those are the importance of the stats by comparison. Please remember that this stat distribution list is only created according to my experience in-game. Feel free to disagree.
To sum it all up, these are the stats you need to focus on—especially if you are confused about what stats to transfer on your equipment. The stat doesn’t need to be a purple or orange tier.
I know some players still choose to have an Orange Physical Attack rather than a blue tier Magic Attack on a Reaper. That does not actually help you. The higher-colored stat tier may raise your ratings but it won’t help you on actual battles.
Now that you understand how stats work for the class you are using, why don’t you try it on your character? Trust me. It’ll be worth it.
